robin and the joker, once friends. I wonder what tore them apart.
why do I keep getting the impression that everyone in sf thinks sf is no longer worth your time? 2 years ago when I left it was still tits, and now all the sudden some stiff necks move into town and you’re all crying about $4 toast and how they’re ruining everything? it’s still your city, and as I’m on the precipice, deciding whether or not to return, I’m wondering if $75k/year is enough to live there on when 2 years ago I was living in $30k and loving it. I’m starting to think all of you complainers are just apathetic slime just looking for something to whine about. yes rent is higher. our spots are getting shit on, sure, but stop acting like everything you are and like to do is in the past because a group from the bowels of the ruling class rolled in. and don’t say your spots are becoming ironic just because they aren’t popular anymore, that would imply you pettiness because shits not ironic if you really like it. if you don’t like it, tuck your tail and leave for good because there’s no room for complacency in this fight. it’s time to take back THE CITY. get the whiskey ready.
this is my favorite. they’re almost as good as Adam Sadler.
